ANTHI KYRIAKOU

‘Technology worships expressionless behaviours, whereas honesty is an endangered virtue [...]

Awkward circumstances are what my practice feeds on [...]

I am mostly a virtual trickster, working within the dimensions offered to society through the internet and screens.’

Currently, Anthi’s work materialises in the medium of digital print, through the usage of the Giclee printing process. Anthi is an artist and Ceramist living in Limassol, Cyprus. She also used to reside in the United Kingdom where she finished her studies in Fine Arts (BA and MFA). Her practice focuses mainly in analysing socio-political themes of the western capitalist society. Specifically, she focuses on personal and often awkward moments which she proliferates and exaggerates through performance, video and collage work.
